The Tim Holtz 31cm/12.25" Maxi Guillotine is a long format but portable guillotine. Featuring a hardened stainless steel precision ground blade and an accurate grid built with the card-making crafter in mind.

Received this guillotine it is very neat and compact am well pleased with it.
I'd had the Tonic cutter for years but the blades were so so hard to come by and wore out quite quickly. So, took the plunge and got this. It's heavier than my original cutter and you have to get used to placing the paper in the right position before remembering to press on the plastic bits before pulling the blade down, otherwise you get a wonky cut! I'd have liked to have been able to raise the blade higher and also to have had a raised bit nearer me and not just at the blade end. I still use my original cutter sometimes.
I had my current guillotine for almost 20 years and it still works well but although it was a4 it didn't have the extension that this has. But also love the fact that the handle tucks away and there are both measurements on tim holes guillotine and finally my reason for wanting this rather than needing a new guillotine was that there are guide lines all the way down the measuring plate and is so precise with the measuring and the cut is amazing.... true tonic precision! Love love love it!

I dont recommend it measurements on the box is different to the size of the guillotine. Iv messaged the company i bought it off and they have forward my complaint to tonic, but as also no reply back
The measurements after 5" are ridiculous- I wasted so much card trying to measure 6" width.

This was bought as a replacement for my original Tonic guillotine, which I loved but had given up the ghost from excessive use. My only criticism is that the marking after 5 and 7 inch are not very accurate due to the break between the guillotine and the extender arm. Apart from this it is a great guillotine.

I have now 3 Tonic cutters and each performs wonderfully. This large Tim Holtz cutter has been superb at cutting card/paper/foam etc with clean sharp cuts and with no feathering on even the finest of papers.

I have always had issues cutting card stock with paper trimmers but using this has changed my world.
This is amazing. It is so sharp and accurate. You can slice the smallest sliver of paper cleanly. While it is small I and compact it can take 12x12 scrapbook paper with ease. I haven’t needed to use the extension yet but it’s there when I do.
The guillotine arrived promptly and was well packaged. I haven't made a great deal of use of it so far but it does a good job.

Since receiving my Tonic guillotine I have used it everyday. It cuts smoothly and leaves a clean crisp edge. The best trimmer I have ever owned! As always Tonic is a brand I know I can rely on.
