White card for a frosty morning

It's a crisp frosty morning here in the Highlands, so I thought I'd go for a white on white card today with touches of warm gold.

I used my Doily dies to decorate this tri-fold card which I scored and cut to make 3x 9cm square panels with my super trimmer . (You will get 2 of these ditzy sized cards out of one A4 piece of paper. ) I used the square shape mate for the front of the card raising this from the doily with 3D Foam Squares by scrapbook adhesives from 3L. The circle I added to the centre panel I ran through an embossing folder.

I used my old favourite upcycled Tomato paste tube for the gold decorations. I used an embossing tool to dome the centre of the multi detail flower and so that the flower does not get squashed, I lay it upside down and filled the hollow with Tacky Glue and left it overnight to dry before sticking it to my card.

The frilly doilies on the front of the card are made from Baking Parchment which I cut at the same time as my paper with the square doily dies. I simply pinched the centre of them and stuck them down to the card before adding my flower.

The other punches used here are the Simplicity Geared classic butterfly and Multi Detail Butterfly.
