Use your Tonic Punches & Dies to add lots of texture to your card

This is my first card since joining the Tonic Studios Design Team and features a number of different techniques, but hopefully combined into an elegant, classy card – as that’s was my aim!  So can you spot all the techniques?  Look for:

Felt Work ● Stitching ● Embossing ●  Punches ●  Die Cutting ● Flower Embellishing ●  Accenting ●   Hat Pin Making ● (Un)Fussy Cutting

Like Ruth (below), I too have used the gorgeous new Butterfly Beautiful double-sided card stack and this time combined it with the new Large Butterfly Gift Tag.  The double-sided card is well named as the designs and colours are just beautiful, and you can see from our two very different cards that it comes in a wide variety of patterns and colours.  With the Tag, I did some very unfussy cutting, by die-cutting the butterfly in patterned paper and then just snipping it from the Gift Tag to have a decoupage layer for my hand-coloured tag.  The embossed detail on the Butterfly is very pretty.

You can see more detailed instructions on how I made this card, adding lots of texture with a variety of techniques and Tonic Studios tools, on my blog DipsDesigns, do pop over for a look.

Bye for now
