Carmenta Butterfly card


I love this combination of indigo and saffron. This is one of my favourite papers from the Butterflies beautiful set. The way the borders are laid out on the papers gives you plenty of layout options.  The delightfully detailed die is the Carmenta butterfly die.

I hope it's not too chilly where you are...it's certainly beginning to be soup and stodgy pudding kind of weather don't you think?

Dinner party decor


The new butterflies and blooms dies are so useful. I find myself popping those fabulous filigree butterflies all over the place.  Here I have placed one of the butterflies on a pretty cracker made with Tonic's cracker die (and Tonic's butterflies beautiful paper of course).

Wouldn't these look so pretty at a dinner party - one for each guest - filled with after dinner mints. I have a feeling that...

Coming up Roses.....


Roses seem to be coming into bloom everywhere now - why not on my cards too? Sometimes when I have some time to myself I just love to make more paper flowers and save them in boxes for my cards and other projects. I quite often just use up leftover pieces of card and paper ...how much paper does it really take to punch a few petals? Well, I had a look in my "Rose box" and these 3 caught my eye....

Butterfly twisted easel card


Good morning! I've had a lovely few days with family and friends and was at a wedding on Monday. I'll be sharing some wedding cards later in the week so I'll maybe show you a couple of photos of Monday's wedding too.
