Keren Baker - Love Tag Card

Hi everyone!
As Valentine's Day is nearly here, I thought I'd create something that is perfect for anyone special. Not everyone has someone they want to send a Valentine too, but all of us have that special someone or friend that we could let know how much they mean to us.

Tonic Studios Supplies

Verso Love From Tag Die set
Other supplies: coloured cardstock and silver cardstock, red and white twine. White gel pen
First up, die cut the Budding Vine panel onto white card and die cut an oval from it. This way you get to stretch your dies and create new ways of using them.
2. After that, add some watercolour effect to the die cut image using the Nuvo Brush Script pens. Simply scribble a little of each colour onto an acrylic block and pick up the colour using a waterbrush.
3. Colour in as much as the image as you want, adding more colour to areas for greater depth.
4. Attach to another die cut oval piece of white cardstock and add to a card blank. Punch a hole in the top and add twine through. Add a die cut sentiment. I cut mine once out of silver card and once from white cardstock, adding more watercolour Brush script pen colour to the heart which I added over the silver sentiment.

This easy project could be used as a tag for decorating a beautifully boxed treat and if you change up the colours or dies, it could be more masculine or feminine but I've kept the colour scheme fairly unisex on this project. I hope you have a go at using these gorgeous Brush Script pens to create multi coloured layers.
Have a lovely Valentine's Day!
