A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies - Craft Kit 06 - Edna Taylor

Good afternoon and welcome to the blog today.

I've had another play with the gorgeous Tonic Craft Kit #6 and I've used the butterfly on it's own this time.

To give you an idea of scale the card base is 5 x 7" so you have a substantial butterfly with this kit.

The kit is still available until the end of the month from Tonic Studios so you have time to nab one before they are all gone.

I've die cut the large butterfly and quilted it through the die to give a little extra dimension.
The easy way to do this is to place the backing card cut to shape with the die cut decorative butterfly on top. Place the die back over the butterfly and using an embossing tool, emboss from the back to get the effect.
I've used papers from the kit with the beautiful navy dazzle pearlescent for the backing.
The green meadow glitter shows up a treat and adds to the 'dazzle'.

I die cut and backed a second butterfly ( I was inventive with the card stock so that it would stretch) and then placed them as seen.

The sentiment is an old one I had in my stash.

I hope you enjoy this version today.

Thank you for calling in!
