A Cockapoo for Christmas - Nicky Gilburt

Imagine my delight when I found a cockapoo amongst the new Festive Friends stamps from Tonic Studios, just launched last week.

Inspired by my own chocolate coloured fluff bundle, I grabbed my brown Nuvo Creative pens and coloured this one in!
Here you can see the size and design of the gorgeous acetate baubles, round ones and diamond shaped ones, into which you can add your cute creatures. Although I used only the stamps for my samples, wouldn't it be amazing to make a bauble card - or even use two and make a tree decoration? - with a photo of a special furry loved one?

Here is one of the cute cats in the diamond bauble, which I have coloured with Nuvo Glitter Markers in festive red and green. You'll see also the fabulous sentiment stamps. Really big, super clear fonts, you could skip the cute and stamp directly inside your bauble with these if you prefer.
The other dog in the set of stamps is another cute 'curly'. With big ears and the sweetest little jumper, the envy of doggies everywhere, he or she is a delight to colour!
I used the new Easel creator cards and Victorian layering dies to make this card.
Not wishing to leave out the kitty cats, here is a card made with the aperture that comes with the bauble
I just cut and coloured two cats to fit in the holes. This Tropical Tide light blue Craft Perfect glitter card is the most amazing shade I have ever seen, too.
Finally, another Christmas kitty, surrounded by presents. I made a background out of the Christmas sentiment with this one, and popped the cat in the corner of the card.

Lots of inspiration from the other members of the team will be out there on Pinterest, or in the Tonic Studios facebook page. Definitely worth a look!

Happy Crafting!
